Boomers Are Finding Cycling A Fun Way To Get Fit And Stay Fit

Just what are boomers anyway? Well, the popular definition includes anyone born between 1946 and 1964 but that doesn’t say nearly enough.

They are the largest, most influential, group in the country (over 75 million strong) and make up over 50% of the work force.

There is a new interest among boomers in fun and fitness and you can't have much of one without the other. Today' 50 or 60 something people want to look and feel younger and be able to enjoy all that they have worked for.

We have the laugh lines and wrinkles and wear them proudly. But, now it's time to enjoy life a bit more but we need to get fit to make the most of it. Bicycle riding is a great way to get fit so you can do the stuff that you enjoy?. It is doesn’t cost an arm and a leg and it can be a lot of fun.

There are tons of new types of bicycles now that were unheard of just a few years ago. And, they are making them more friendly to more mature bodies. There are also new trails, organized rides, and bike clubs than ever before.

Bike riding is easier on older bodies than just about any exercise. Once you start feeling good you will kick yourself for not starting sooner and, you will be pleasantly surprised to find that you have the energy for all kinds of fun stuff.

I’ve seen real couch potatoes turn into high energy people that thoroughly enjoy themselves, and really live life to the fullest, after they took the time and effort to get fit. I know, first hand, because I was one of them.

Remember, what good is all that you have accomplished if your health is shot?

Take a ride with me and discover a whole new world of cycling and fitness as seen through the eyes of a boomer just like you!
