Cycling Tights Are
Indispensable For Cold
Weather Riding Comfort


As much as I like to ride my bikes, I don’t like being cold. The warmth and comfort that cycling tights give me more than makes up for any misgivings that I have about wearing them and looking a bit like tinkerbell.

Wearing jeans, or even sweats, to ride a bike just doesn’t work for me. Not only do the bunch up in the crotch, they restrict your leg movement and actually make you sore and tired.

Tights have all the advantages of bike shorts but with the added warmth of the long legs. The freedom of movement and the padded bottom means that you can ride longer without any chafing or soreness. The material is made to wick away sweat and stretch when and where it needs to.

They are available with a bib or ankle stirrups and there are also heavier tights made just for winter weather. The bottom line ( no pun intended ) is they are super comfortable and I can ride in cooler weather that I would otherwise.
