A Few Essential Bicycle
Tools Let You Do Miner
Repairs With Ease

A few simple bicycle tools can help you do routine maintainance and minor repairs. You don't need a lot of tools starting out but you will want to, at least, be able to replace a tube if you get a flat tire, and make minor adjustments to your brakes.

As a minimum you should have a few allen wrenches, phillips head and flat head screwdrivers, a few tire levers, and a cutting blade. You need the tire levers to remove and install the tire on the rim.

There are some, really clever combination tools included in a very compact, light-weight, multi tool kit as shown hers. This tool even includes a led flashlight.

The good news is that they only weigh only a few ounces so it's not like lugging a tool box with you.

If you like to tinker, and decide you want to do all of the work on your bike by yourself, there are lots of other, application specific tools available at Jenson USA
