The day 6 electric bike is an awesome combination of electric power and a completely unique design. The bike was designed by a man who suffered with back problems for years but loves to ride. By incorporating the pedal forward designed frame with super comfortable seats that have seat backs he is able to ride every day with no problems.
The pedal forward design not only offers easier pedaling it enables the rider to sit comfortably with both feet on the ground when stopped.
The handlebars are fully adjustable and raised to a comfortable position to alleviate any pressure that can numb the hands.
The seats and seat backs are fully adjustable as well to help obtain the optimum riding position.
The low step through design makes mounting and dismounting much easier than a conventional designed frame.
There are even optional disc brakes available for added stopping power.
The addition of the 750 watt motor enables the rider to climb the steepest of hills without pedaling.
The lithium battery minimizes weight and extends the range up to 40 miles on flat terrain and 20 miles on hilly terrain. Most electric bikes typically use 250 watt motors and lead acid batteries which just won't cut it on hilly terrain. Also lead acid batteries are much heavier and have a limited range as compared to lithium batteries
(Note: the blue & green is a special paint that is predominantly blue but at a certain angle looks green. Very cool!)
